A to Z Solar needed to validate and scale NuWatt, its AI-powered solar energy platform, but faced limited user data, slow processing, and gaps in forecasting accuracy and fault detection.
LAUIH rebuilt the platform's AI engineering end to end: data preparation, feature engineering, cross-validation, model refinement, and architecture optimization around caching, threading, batching, and scheduling — then transferred code and knowledge to NuWatt's team for continued development.
Processing time dropped from 33 to 5.5 seconds for 16 predictions, a 6x speedup, and model error fell from 0.70 to 0.30 RMSE. NuWatt now has a validated foundation for predictive optimization and fault detection targeting 15 million kWh of renewable electricity per year.
